Easy and adaptive modular cyberethics framework for a better life

Who Are We

We are the foremost organization dedicated to promoting safe and legal digital world

Having reached out to more than 30 schools, 10,000 students and 300 teachers in our cyber wellness talks and workshops in the past 18 months, we are always on the lookout for more interactive and engaging ways to share our knowledge on cyber wellness, especially when it comes to our favourite topic: video games!

As a result, we are proud to present the Young Cyber Wellness Achiever (YCA) programme, a part of our current efforts to create a more interactive learning experience with schools in the area of cyber wellness. The YCA is currently in its pilot phase; it has been trialed with up to 5 schools, with 6 schools in total taking us up on this programme. Similar to our familiar and beloved Young Scientist cards, the YCA programme deals with the nice and the nasty our youth will find on the internet, and helps them recognise and deal with situations.

A total of 5 out of 7 given tasks have to be completed before the YCA is considered complete. The best entries from the Junior and Senior categories stand a chance to be showcased at Singapore Games Festival, a three day long gaming event later in the year. Participants from the programme are also invited to attend the Award Ceremony.

The Young Cyber Wellness Achiever (YCA) programme, both senior and junior, is created by Singapore's Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) with the support of the National Crime Prevention Council. It is sponsored by Symantec and Starhub, both leading brands in their areas of expertise.

Junior Cyber Wellness Achiever Award

The Junior Cyber Wellness Achiever Award is a three-month long activity dedicated to help young students (P3 to P6) learn about having fun online and still keeping healthy. The aim here is to educate them on what they might face out on the internet. Participants of the programme will learn, among other things, about creating strong passwords and protecting their personal information and computers. The best of all submitted works will be showcased at the upcoming Singapore GameFEST Award Ceremony.

Senior Cyber Wellness Achiever Award

The Senior Cyberwellness Achiever Award is a programme designed to educate teens (Sec 1 and up) about the new areas of technology they are exploring. It deals with more complex issues, such as how to spot and deal with addictive behaviour. Some of the doable tasks include designing posters to encourage healthy gaming habits. The best of all submitted works will be showcased at the upcoming Singapore GameFEST Award Ceremony.
